What is a "pool"?

A pool is a group of buyers committing to buy the same item together. By pooling demand, we unlock farm-gate or wholesale prices for individuals who only want a small quantity.

What if the pool doesn’t fill?

You get a full refund via Paystack, 5 to 10 business days. The seller never received your money. It stayed in escrow the whole time.

Can I pay with bank transfer?

Yes. Every checkout supports card, NIP bank transfer, and USSD (*737#, *901#, etc). Pick whichever is easiest at checkout.

How do I pick up?

Show your 4-digit pickup PIN to the seller. They enter it on their phone to mark you collected. That triggers the escrow release.

What if the seller doesn’t show?

After a 24-hour grace period, we automatically refund you. You can also raise a dispute earlier and admin will look at it.

How do I become a seller?

Submit the seller application. It takes 8 minutes. You’ll need a government ID and a bank account. Admin reviews within 24 to 48 hours.

What is the fee?

3.5% of the item subtotal. We deduct it from your payout. Delivery fees pass through in full, no fee on those.

When do I get paid?

After each buyer scans their PIN at pickup, that buyer’s portion of the escrow queues for transfer to your bank. Auto-released 24 hours later if no dispute.

Can I cancel a listing?

Yes, but all existing buyers will be refunded. There’s a confirmation step.

Government ID + bank account name resolution + manual admin review. First listings are also moderated.

Is my data shared?

No. ID documents are visible only to Chowpool admin. Your phone is used for pickup PIN delivery and never shown to other users.
